Recordings
Video recordings of Sejm proceedings with Persate's analysis — the three lists, list and tile layouts, status icons, filters, and other ways to open a recording.
Recordings gives access to video recordings of Sejm proceedings — plenary sittings, committee and subcommittee sittings, conferences and other events — together with Persate's analysis of each recording: a transcript with identified speakers and, for finished recordings, a timeline, a polished transcript and the official Sejm transcript where these are available.
The module appears under PUBLIC → Recordings when the feature is enabled for the organization. Otherwise the page shows This feature is not included in your plan.
Ongoing, Previous and Scheduled
The top bar switches between three lists:
- Ongoing — proceedings being broadcast right now.
- Previous — proceedings that have ended. This list opens by default.
- Scheduled — announced proceedings that have not started yet.
Ongoing and Previous show the newest proceedings first; Scheduled shows the nearest first. A proceeding is listed in only one of the three lists and moves to the next one when it starts and ends.
List and tiles
The toggle at the right of the top bar switches between two layouts. The browser remembers the choice.
- List — rows grouped by month, with the columns Recording, Date, Type and Status.
- Tiles — one card per recording with its first frame, type, start time and room.
Selecting a row or a tile opens the recording; see Opening a proceeding.
Status icons
The Status column — in tiles, the top-right corner of the card — shows at most one icon per recording. Hovering over the icon shows what it means.

| No icon | The recording has no analysis yet. |
| Check mark | Recording Analysis is complete. |
| Spinning circle | The analysis is running or queued; while it runs, the tooltip shows the percentage done. |
| Red cross | The analysis failed, or it stopped and is waiting to resume on its own. The tooltip names the state — for example retry scheduled or waiting for recording — and, when known, the time of the next retry or check. |
| Grey question mark | No transcript · Needs verification — the analysis finished but saved no transcript. This does not confirm that nobody spoke; the analysis can be run again from the recording view. |
| Grey circle | The original video is no longer available from its source: Persate only (Persate plays the copy it saved) or Video unavailable. Any saved analysis remains accessible. |
Analysis status explains each state and the action it offers.
Narrowing the list
The side panel filters the list that is currently open:
- Search — matches the title, the committee and the room (Search sessions...).
- Date Range — limits the list to a selected period.
- Proceeding type — Session, Commission, Subcommittee, Conference or Other; several types can be selected at once.
- Recording availability — shows only recordings marked Persate only, Unavailable or Stale unavailable. With nothing selected (Any availability), all recordings are listed.
- Political party — shows recordings whose title names a parliamentary club or party, such as a club's press conference.
The selected filters stay in place when switching between the lists and are kept for the rest of the browser session.
Other ways to open a recording
Recordings can also be opened from other parts of Persate, usually at the relevant moment:
- Search — results include recordings and matching fragments of their transcripts; a transcript match opens the recording at that moment. See Search and notifications.
- Advisor — a citation of a statement in an Advisor answer opens the recording at the cited moment.
- Tracker — alert matches found in Sejm speeches offer a Play from link to the matched moment.
- Legislation — committee pages link to the recordings of their sittings (Open recording).
Empty and error states
- No proceedings found — the list is empty or no recording in it matches the active filters.
- Failed to load proceedings — the list could not be loaded; trying again later is recommended.
