Cockpit

The Cockpit is the startup dashboard after signing in. Open Cockpit in the sidebar to review developments on the alerts available to the account. This view requires access to alerts.

Development cards

The mosaic ranks alert developments by assessed significance, the number of grouped events, and recency. Potentially major items come first. An item without an assessment is not treated as unimportant.

The mosaic always contains eight tiles: five alert tiles in the upper two rows and three Importance tiles in the bottom row. The largest card shows the leading alert development. If positions are available for its project, coloured letter tiles show the organisations and their assessed stances. Importance shows potentially major public developments beyond the alert matches, including a key figure when one is available. Empty tiles keep their place.

Selecting a card opens its details. Why it matters shows the automated rationale and up to two topics when available. Assessments can be incomplete or incorrect; check the linked source before relying on them. Source text and rationales retain their original language.

Dashboard summaries

• Since your last visit — new activity grouped by alert, with a headline and a new-item count. Select an alert to open its matches.
• Your projects in the process — projects linked to recent alert activity, their current stage, and the next step. The track distinguishes stages containing documents from earlier empty and upcoming stages. The current stage is inferred from the available documents, so it may lag the official process.
• Who's weighing in — positions on linked projects, grouped by organisation and stance: Objects, Asks for changes, or No objections. These are automated readings of assessed letters, not verified legal conclusions. The date label states the available coverage; absence from the card does not establish that an organisation filed no position.

The three summary sections remain visible while loading or when empty. When personal results are empty, they can show public developments, projects, and a recording, depending on the account's access. Positions already shown on the leading card are not repeated in the summary. Lists show the rows that fit; See all opens more information.

Now on X

When Since your last visit has no updates and the account has access to Media, Now on X shows one featured story from the last seven days. The card contains a large title, a short description of its latest event, authors' profile pictures from X, the number of available posts and the last activity time. When a profile picture is unavailable, the card uses the author's directory photo or initials.

The card cycles through up to ten available stories every eight seconds, with a smooth transition between their content. Hovering over the card or focusing a control pauses the cycle. Selecting a segment or arrow stops automatic switching and keeps navigation manual. Selection stays in place when the data refreshes. Reduced-motion preferences disable automatic switching and transition animations. Selecting the title opens the full story; See all opens Media.

The newest day in Poland comes first. Within that day, available Importance assessments of direct source posts inform the order, followed by recency. Topic labels and Potentially major appear only when supported by an existing assessment. Accounts without Media access retain the public-development list.

Recording card

When no consultation positions are available and the account has access to recordings, In recordings occupies one taller summary card. It shows up to three playable recordings with a ready transcript, or a partial transcript for an ongoing broadcast. The newest calendar day in Poland comes first. Within the same day, Sejm sittings precede other sessions, committees and remaining events; recordings of the same type show live broadcasts first, then the latest start time. Recordings with an empty or unavailable transcript are omitted. Each row has a thumbnail on the left and a larger title aligned to the top on the right, followed by the beginning of its AI-generated overview. All three rows fit without scrolling inside the card.

Every ongoing broadcast starts automatically as a muted preview in its own row. Selecting anywhere on a recording row, including the thumbnail, title or description, opens the full recording view with playback and sound controls. See all opens the recordings catalogue.

The Cockpit generates a missing short overview from the available transcript and saves it for subsequent visits. It can reuse an existing enhanced-transcript overview. Long recordings use excerpts distributed throughout the transcript; live descriptions cover the portion already transcribed and refresh as the broadcast progresses. Playback remains available while Preparing the AI summary… is displayed. If loading takes too long, Retry loading the AI summary allows another attempt. The previous live description remains visible while its update is prepared. If an archived recording has no readable transcript, the card selects the next eligible recording.

Recommended workflow

1. Review the leading developments and potentially major items.
2. Open a card to read the rationale and verify its source.
3. Check project stages and consultation positions, then open the relevant alert or project to continue working.

Appearance

Light mode is the default when no theme has been chosen. Change it under Settings → Preferences → Appearance using Sunny mode, Moonlit night, or Follow system. An existing choice remains in effect.

Empty and loading states

No alerts found on the Cockpit means the completed read returned no matches from the last seven days; it does not mean the account has no configured alerts. The top-left tile uses the same centered folder icon, heading and description as the alerts list, with a Create alert button below. No titled events yet means recent matches are still waiting for a display title; its View alerts button opens the existing alerts. Importance covers the last seven days and shows up to three distinct developments with their assessment text directly on the cards.

Both sections load independently. Animated placeholders indicate an ongoing read. Importance placeholders follow the card layout: topic badges, headline, description and source line. The remaining empty tiles show only animated outlines, without labels or numbers. Loading and error messages appear once per section; an error offers a retry. Reduced-motion preferences stop the outline animation. A failed read offers Try again, including when loading fails after a partial response; available cards remain visible. All eight tiles retain their positions during loading, empty results and errors.

Cards and summary sections fade from their loading placeholders into their content, empty state or retry message. Their space is reserved from the start, including when a summary switches to public stories or recordings. Recording descriptions also load within a fixed space, keeping the title and date in place. Background refreshes keep available content visible. Reduced-motion preferences skip these transitions.
